Core to the activities at SSURA is commitment to ensuring health and well-being among refugees and host communities. The Health initiative here will revolve around.

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support: targeted interventions for addressing mental health needs of individuals affected by displacement; nurturing resilience and psychological wellbeing via counseling, peer support groups, and community-based activities. We have counselors in our two trauma healing centers in Koboko (Ombaci) and Arua city ( Oli Health Center IV)

Disease Control and Prevention Awareness: We create awareness and provide wherewithal through education campaigns and outreach in the community to help individuals in the prevention and management of diseases, thus contributing to healthier and resilient communities.

Our integrated approach ensures responses to the health challenges of vulnerable populations are delivered with compassion and sustainability to underpin a foundation for long-term community well-being.
